Dr. Brian Hranek was born in San Diego, California, and raised in Menifee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2013 before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at St. George's University in 2018. Before joining our team, Dr. Hranek practiced at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego, where he developed a strong passion for emergency and critical care medicine. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, attentive care and helping pets live healthier, happier lives.

A personal introduction
Outside the clinic, Dr. Hranek enjoys spending time with his beloved dog, Margo Plicatus, a mixed-breed pot hound originally from the island of Grenada. When he's not caring for animals, you can often find him hiking, surfing, camping, or discovering a great local coffee shop.
